The Mesarch Database is a digital research tool organized around the categories of Projects, Actors and Media. The database tools have been designed to facilitate the contextualization of architectural projects within larger social, cultural, and political contexts. 

The app includes 100 building biographies of modern architecture in Cyprus, and engages with the public, inviting them to share their stories as an imperative element in understanding the tangible value of modern built heritage. The app is constructed as a digital archive that 'listens.'

Mesarch maintains a physical architectural archive of archival collections that have been donated or otherwise acquired by the lab from Cypriot architects. Selected material has been digitized, safeguarding it, and making it more accessible for research. Browse our list of archival material here.
