Mesarch Lab researcher Anastasia Psoma participated in the Changing Cities VI conference held on Rhodes Island, Greece (June 24-28, 2024), through online participation. She presented the following work (co-authored with P. Pyla):
Oral Presentation: "Protecting Built Heritage from Changing Waterscapes: Lessons from Cyprus."
Poster Presentation: "Reassessing Varosha: A Research Agenda for Heritage Sites in Conflict Zones."
Both online presentations took place on Friday, June 28. The program and full eBook of Abstracts can be found at the conference website: Changing Cities VI Conference.

Congratulations to Anastasia and the Mesarch Lab team on their engaging contributions to Changing Cities VI! The sessions on protecting heritage in shifting waterscapes and the critical reassessment of Varosha sound particularly timely and thought-provoking.
Congrats on presenting at Changing Cities VI—the Cyprus case study sounds like a timely angle on heritage vs. rising waters. I’ve been digging into similar coastal adaptation work, so this is right up my alley. Check out https://image-gpt.net

Great to see the Cyprus case study getting international exposure—especially the focus on built heritage facing shifting waterscapes. The online participation option made it accessible, which is a smart move for broader engagement. I've been exploring similar coastal heritage challenges and found some useful context in this resource. https://faceless-video.net
